Pears - Williams Bon Viveur: I went to Bruges to see the Jan van Eyck paintings and to study traditional Flemish Art in that city. I was inspired by a wonderful painting of pears - came home and there right outside my kitchen window was a pear tree with luscious pears on it. That was it. I picked up my paint brush.
