Do you want to sell your artwork online and not have to pay any commission?

With The Big Empty Wall online gallery you can do just that!

All we ask is that you have the prints that you sell online printed by us at PhotoArt GB Ltd. After all, any prints that you sell have to be printed somewhere don't they?! We even offer our artists a discount on their printing costs!

If you wish to sell prints or cards that you already have made, or you wish to use someone else to do your printing we will charge commission on a sliding scale from 10% - 25%. The more you sell for the lower the commission rate that applies.

So, how does it work?

It's as simple as 1,2,3.

1. You supply us with the artwork you wish to sell as prints. We have a full Giclee reproduction service available and are able to handle all of your printing requirements in-house. If you don't already have your artwork ready for print we can offer a full scanning / copying service to get you up and running. If you already have your work scanned and available in a digital format we can work with that. We offer all of our online artists discounts on our printing prices.
2. You decide what sizes and the media you are going to offer your prints on. Also we need to know if you require the prints to be offered unframed or framed (or both if you require), and then you set the price you wish to charge for the prints.
3. You sit back and wait for the orders to be placed for your art prints. We print them, frame them etc. and send on the profit to you!

Don't want to keep a large stock of prints to sell?

There's no need to. With our Giclee print service you can have your prints made on demand, as and when someone orders them. There's no initial outlay on prints in the hope that they will all be sold. It really is as simple as that!

Our Giclee (pronounced "jhee-clay") prints are produced using Epson ultrachrome pigmented inks, giving a life expectancy of 75+ years under normal conditions. Giclee prints are produced using professional grade large format printers, archival pigmented inks and acid free papers and canvas.

You set the size of the prints and prices that are charged for your prints?

That's the whole idea! There's no way we can put a price on your hard work. We have various sized framing options for your prints should you require them and we can work with you to make sure the best size, media and framing options are utilised for your artwork.

Is there a joining fee?

We'd love to offer if for free but unfortunately there are running costs with any website, along with advertising opportunities that have to be taken to promote our site. However, we want to make sure that our website is accessible for all artists and the last thing we wish to do is make it unrealistic for you to take this opportunity to sell online. There is a small charge of £50 per year to belong to our website.

Will you have to sell your art exclusively with us?

Absolutely not. We don't want to sign you up to any kind of exclusivity deal. You are free to sell your art anywhere you wish. We are more than happy to supply our printing services for you to produce your prints for sale elsewhere too if you wish!
